The Bar

The Melbourne Hotel was recently renovated, during which the bar area underwent a major refurbishment.

Our bar area manages to retain everything good about the traditional English pub yet has a distinctly modern, yet warm atmosphere. Whether you are a local, just visiting or a resident of the hotel, the welcome is always friendly. With our regular live music you can be guaranteed that whether with a group of friends or family or just out for a quiet drink the bar area of The Melbourne Hotel will give you a good night out.

The Melbourne Hotel is a free house so we have a wide and varied selection of Real Ales and fine wines. Our drinks menu in general caters for most tastes.

Food can be served in the bar area if you want a less formal surrounding than the restaurant area.

Just outside the front of The Melbourne Hotel is a patio area which during the summer months is always busy with both young and old enjoying both the beautiful surroundings of both the Hotel and Village.
